Joseph DeLuca, 83, of Garden City, SC, formerly of Valley Stream, N.Y., died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Agape Senior. He was born April 26, 1929 in the Bronx.
He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after service during the Korean Conflict.
Joseph was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In his spare time he enjoyed dancing, playing bridge, golfing, cooking and playing with his beloved dog, Jaxx. He loved his fellowship with members of the Mildred Floyd Sunday School class at Belin United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet, SC.
Mr. DeLuca is survived by his wife, Linda Hughes DeLuca of the home; two sons, Andrew DeLuca and Joseph DeLuca, both of Valley Stream, NY; two stepsons, Steve Rose of Conway and David Rose of Charlotte; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Hughes Cole (Neil) of Conway; four grandchildren, Brynn Jones (Jarrod), Brandon Rose, Justin Rose, Matthew Rose; his beloved cousin Marion DeMayo and many close friends and neighbors who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 1st, at 2:00 P.M. at Belin United Methodist Church.
