Carmen Isella, age 70, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at MUSC Hospital of acute leukemia.
Born in Shenandoah, PA, he was a son of the late Carmene L. Isella and Ethel Rebecca Allen. Carmen lived in Maryland most of his life and retired to Surfside Beach in 2005 with his wife Margaret, who survives him. He worked at Bethlehem Steel, Sparrows Point and the Harford County School System preceding his retirement. He was a US Air Force veteran, serving honorably from 1960 - 1964.
In addition to his wife of 53 years, Margaret, Carmen is survived by a daughter, Roselind Isella and her partner Tony Breeback; a son Carmen George Isella and his family; grandchildren: Little Tony and Kendall; brothers: Frank and Guy Isella and a sister, Marie Davis and their families.
The family will receive friends from 4 PM - 6 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with a vigil to be prayed.
