Bernard Earl Delph 82, of Bedford, died on August 7, 2013 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.
He was born on Nov. 26, 1930 to the late Mark and Gladys Cook Delph in Mount Zion, Ky. He served his country in the United States Army and was an Agriculture teacher for Carroll and Trimble counties for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife Betty Scott Delph, his children: Barbara Mullikin of Milton, David Delph of Mt. Sterling, Ky., and Debra Miller of Prospect, Ky.; stepchildren Jeff Scott of Bedford and Troy Scott of Florence, Ky.; a brother Norris Delph of New Albany, Ind.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Nancy Delph. Services were held Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford. Burial was in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Ky.
