Eva Flint Eades, 81, of Canaan, Ind. died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at The Waters of Clifty Falls, Madison, Ind.

She was born November 13, 1931 in Jefferson County, Ind. to Earl L. & Ruth Rea Flint.
Eva is survived by and will be missed by her loving daughters: Karen Harden Todd and her husband, Mark of Bedford, Ky., Linda Daubenspeck and her husband, Larry of Rushville, Ind.; her grandchildren: Danny Harden and his wife, Barbara, Jimmy Harden and his wife, Amanda, Michael Daubenspeck and his wife, Ashley, Joseph Daubenspeck, Sarah Daubenspeck, Mark Todd, Jr. and Kristen Todd Schreiner and her husband, Ray; her great grandchildren: Damon, William, McKinley, Keenan, Rylan, Roxie Jo, Mason & Lucas; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Robert Eades died, August 25, 1997; her sister, Norma Baker died August 10, 2000; her son in law, Rev. Ricky E. Harden died, June 19, 1995; her granddaughter, Laura Ruth Daubenspeck died, July 10, 1991.
Mrs. Eades was raised in Jefferson County and was a graduate of Central High School on Ryker's Ridge. Eva was united in marriage on February 14, 1954 at the Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church to Harry Robert Eades. This happy union was blessed with two daughters, Karen and Linda. Eva spent most of her life in Canaan raising her family and devoting much time to her community and her church. She worked as a teacher's aid and cook at the former Canaan Elementary School retiring in 1976. She was a faithful member of the Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church and had served on the pastoral relations committee for many years. Eva was a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother and great grandmother. She loved gospel music and being with her family. After the death of her husband she remained in Canaan until her health forced her to move to Madison and resided at the Waters of Clifty Falls.
Services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013, 11 a.m., Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church, 4413 East, 925 North near Canaan, Ind., officiated by Rev. Ed Roberts and Rev. Darrell James. Interment is at Canaan Cemetery, Canaan, Ind.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Ind. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of the service.
The family requests memorials in memory of Eva to the Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church or Canaan Cemetery Association. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.
