Frank Heveline Jr. 83, of Milton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Madison, Indiana. He was born on March 6, 1930 to the late Frank Marion and Willena Staples Heveline.
After graduating from school Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Frank was a devoted member of Milton Baptist Church where he served as a deacon emeritus and enjoyed working with the Baptist Builders. Frank enjoyed woodworking, refinishing furniture, reading and traveling with his beloved wife.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 58 years, Bonnie Craig Heveline of Milton, his son Frank Gregory Heveline and his wife Tracie of Milton, 4 grandchildren Jory, Heveline and his wife Mamie, Chad Heveline, Daryl Heveline and his wife Chelsea, and Cody Heveline and 2 great-grandchildren, Luke and Wyatt Heveline.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Geraldine Heveline and one brother James Heveline.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at the Milton Baptist Church, in Milton, with Reverend Ferrill Davis and Reverend Deek Dubberly officiating the services.
Interment followed at the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, with the United States Navy and the American Legion Post 9 conducting military honors.
The family has requested memorial donations be made to Milton Baptist Church.
