Lynda Poynter Obituary

Lynda Jo Hunt Poynter, age 73 of Bedford, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at Baptist Health in La Grange. She was born in Shelbyville and was the daughter of the late Ercill and Madeline Roberts Hunt.
She is survived by one daughter, Marti Lawson of Bedford; one brother, Ercill Ray Hunt of North Carolina; three sisters: Mary Carole Hall of Campbellsburg, Nina Colson of Powell County, Ky., and Thelma Lafferre of Louisville; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Poynter and a son, Mark Woods.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Tom Starks of The Well Community Church and Rev. Paul Limato, Jr. of Popular Ridge Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in Pleasureville Cemetery.
