Nancy Mae Sermon Ralston, 77
BEDFORD, Ky. – Nancy Mae Sermon Ralston, 77 of Bedford, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at her residence. She was born on Sept. 2, 1940, in Grayson County, Ky. to the late Ollie Martin, and Maggie Lee Matthews Sermon.
Nancy enjoyed working side by side with her late husband Logan L. Ralston on various business ventures; such as service stations, restaurants, motels, building houses, and other building projects. She enjoyed spending time with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She also enjoyed various sightseeing adventures, vacations, fishing and playing cards with friends and family. She greatly enjoyed visits with her brothers and sister.
Nancy leaves to mourn her passing her children, Thomas "Tommy Floyd Ralston and his wife Jill of Bedford, and Patricia Perkinson and her husband Allen of Bedford; her siblings, Tommy Sermon of Louisville, Ky., Carol Marie Johnson of Horse Branch, Ky., Ollie Lee "Jr" Sermon of Caneyville, Ky., and Rowlie Sermon of Ohio; her grandchildren Logan John Coleter Ralston and his companion Katie Bell, Sabrina Boone Ralston, Aaron Wayne Perkinson, Daniel Lewis Perkinson and his fiancé Amanda Wilbert, and Stewart Anthony Perkinson and his fiancé Erica Johnson; her great-grandchildren, Christopher Perkinson, Mark Perkinson, Joshua Perkinson, Chase Perkinson, Jaylinn Perkinson, Jacob Perkinson, Justin Hedges, Jeffery Hedges, Hillary Toliver; and one on the way, Carter Anthony Perkinson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Jessie Ray Sermon, Tressie Day Sermon, Willis Harlen Sermon, and John Sermon; her husband, Logan Ralston; and her granddaughter, Amanda Ralston.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Jim Bingham officiating.
Burial followed in Bedford Cemetery in Bedford.
Memorial donations may be made to the Amanda Ralston Nursing Scholarship at Bedford Bank. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
