Robert C. "Bob" Webster, 82 of Madison, Ind. died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, Ky. He was born Dec. 20, 1930 in Hanover, Ind., to Curtis and Mildred Nell Royce Webster.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Velva Marie Bird Hatton Webster of Madison, Ind.; his daughter, Debra Lynn Mayhew, of Southport, Ind.; his son, Tony Lee Webster, of Madison, Ind.; his step-daughter, Patsy Elaine Howard, of Deputy, Ind.; his step-son, Thomas E. Hatton of Kent, Ind.; two brothers, Dennis Webster, of Clearwater, Fla., and David Webster, of Madison, Ind.; three sisters, Lois Liter, of Chelsea, Ind., Patricia Copeland of Madison, Ind., and Mary Blaney, Carl of Hanover, Ind.; his sister in law, Sue Webster of Charlestown, Ind.; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 36 years, Gladys I. Campton Webster, died May 6, 1988; his son, Robert Donald Webster, his sisters, June Yvonne Webster and, Linda Carol Webster; his brother, James Webster.
Bob was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison, Ind. Burial was in the, Grandview Memorial Gardens near Madison.
