Teresa Lynn Snyder Cummins, 49, of Hope Mills, NC, formerly of Madison, Ind., died Monday, July 29, 2013 at her home.

Teresa entered life on August 30, 1963 in Madison Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Evelyn Snyder and stepfather Dick Snyder. She was preceded also in death by her father Thomas Guarino. Teresa was the loving wife and greatest supporter of her Army husband of 28 years. She kept a caring and devoted household in his absence through two wars and numerous deployments. She was the loving mother of her pride and joy, daughter Miranda. She loved her Boxer dog, Thor and her feisty Boston Terriers, Niko and Rupert. She loved to crochet, solve puzzles, travel, and keeping up with her favorite soaps. She lived in Germany for six joyful years and loved to Volksmarch with her husband and daughter in small out of the way towns. While living in Madison she was employed as a fountain cook at Rodger's Drugs Store, at Rite Aid pharmacy, and later in Germany as a marketing specialist for the Army Air Force Exchange System, in North Carolina with Black and Decker Manufacturing Dewalt tools. Teresa and her family also resided in Augusta, Georgia, and Killen, Texas. Teresa passed away at her residence with her family at her side.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years Gregory L. Cummins of Hope Mills, NC, her loving daughter, Miranda Lynn Cummins of Winston-Salem, NC, her loving step-father, Dick Snyder of Batesville, Ind., her loving step sister, Mendy Snyder of Batesville, Ind., her loving step brother, Allen Snyder of Louisville, Ky., her loving aunt, Connie Conway of Louisville, Ky., her loving uncle, Ronnie Conway of New Carlisle, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmothers, Norma Guarino and Georgia Conway, numerous aunts and uncles.
Services were held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.
