Dr. Thomas Sinclair Jr.

Dr. Thomas Albert Sinclair, Jr. passed away April 23rd, 2011 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born June 28, 1922 in the Houston Heights to Mary Ella "Daisy" Sinclair and Dr. Thomas A. Sinclair. He attended Reagan High School, where he met his one true love, Lucille Brashear. They were married November 8, 1941 while attending The University of Texas in Austin. Dr. Sinclair graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hermann Hospital. Dr. Sinclair founded his private practice and practiced medicine at Heights Hospital (a hospital founded by his father, Dr. Thomas A. Sinclair, Sr.) where he delivered over 3500 babies during his career. Tom and Lucille were founding members of Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Thomas A. Sinclair, his mother Mary Ella "Daisy" Sinclair, his wife Lucille Brashear Sinclair and his sisters, Elizabeth Zarr Flowers and Marjorie Woods. He is survived by his sons, Thomas Albert Sinclair, III and his wife, Lelani, of Houston, Richard Fred Sinclair and his wife, Marilyn of Kerrville, his daughter, Mary Ann Sinclair Majors and husband, Lee of Midland; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 27th at 11:30AM at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas.
