Pamela "Pam" Roberson Pate, age 65, was an enthusiastic Austinite who embraced life, but lost her brief battle with cancer on June 17, 2013 with her family by her side. Please join family and friends to remember Pam and celebrate her life on Saturday June 22, 2013 at the Center for Spiritual Living Central Texas: 4402 Merle Drive, Austin TX 78745 from 11a-2p. There will be a brief service at 12:00p. Pam is survived by her two children and their families. Her daughter Laura Pate and her husband Jared Wageman of Denver, CO and her son Travis Pate and his wife Stefanie Pate along with Pam's three grandchildren, Phoebe (8), Naomi (4) and Wyatt (2) who reside in Midland ,TX. Pam will always be remembered as a "mom", the one who knew all her children's friends and attended every sporting and school event. She was a life-long learner who loved to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for learning with those around her. Her customers and co-workers at Lowes, where she worked for 6 years, know all about Pam's love of gardening and the satisfaction Pam felt when she was helping others. Pam brought excitement to every event and every new endeavor. If you would like to make a memorial donation in her honor, please donate to the general fund at the Center for Spiritual Living Central Texas, www.cslctx.org where Pam found many friends and explored new interests.
