Treva Doris Burton Fradenburg was born July 25, 1917 in Fort Wayne Indiana to a pioneer Fort Wayne family. Treva was born the fourth of nine children to Carrie Florence DeTurk Burton and Levi Burton. She passed on September 30, 2013 in Pensacola, Florida, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandma. Treva is predeceased by her husband, Dr. Leo Glenn Fradenburg and is survived by one sister, Donna Jesse of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Treva is the mother of seven children: Jean McPhee, Pensacola, FL; Patricia Hultman, Ocean Springs, MS; Ron Fradenburg, Gulf Breeze, FL; Marti Esmiol, Farmington, NM; Connie Ladd, Midland, TX; Sharon McPherson, Stafford, VA; and Glen Fradenburg, Midland,TX. Treva also has four Midland grandchildren: Jack Ladd, Jr., Glenn Ross Ladd, Cici Ladd, and Dougie Ladd, as well as one Midland great-grandchild, Gabriel Ladd. Treva has a total of 26 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Treva is to be laid to rest at Ft. Barrancas National Cemetery at the Pensacola Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. Treva was 96 years young. She was beloved by everyone who knew her; she was eternally fun, youthful, and bright. She loved her grandchildren, playing Bridge with friends and family, and reading a good Louis L'Amour book. Treva had a way of touching a person's life with her joyful nature and she will be sorrowfully missed. Oak Lawn Funeral Home & Crematory in Pensacola, FL has been entrusted with arrangements.
