Linda Hopkins Williamson, 67, of Watauga, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 in North Richland Hills. Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 with Rev. Tony Grand officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home in Stamford. Linda was born February 7, 1945 in Post, Texas, the daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude (Shepherd) Hopkins. She graduated from the Lovington, N.M. Class of 1963 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Texas State University in 1967. She married Danny Ray Williamson in 1966 in Lovington, N.M. Linda was co-owner of Jackson and Williamson LTD Consultants in the Midland/Odessa area where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Odessa. While singing in the Cumberland Choir, she was able to travel with the choir to Austria. Linda is survived by three sons, Kory Williamson of Midland, Kurt and Ana Williamson of Midland, Mateo and Adrienne Williamson of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Susan Cox and husband Bill of Haskell; two brothers, James Hopkins and wife Mendy of Canyon, Carl Hopkins and wife Darlene of Haskell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
