Lake Cumberland Funeral Home - Somerset Obituary

Brian Dale Kennedy, age 33, of Monticello, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 08, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Hospital.


 


Brian was born on April 14, 1985 in Somerset, KY to Ronnie and Margie Pyles Kennedy.  He was a Deputy Jailer at the Wayne County Detention Center.  Brian loved the outdoors and especially spending time with his wife and children.


 


He is survived by his wife, Courtney Michelle West Kennedy of Monticello, whom he married on July 21, 2007 in Mill Springs, KY; his children, Cali Alexis Kennedy, Tucker Lee Kennedy and Abby Grace Kennedy, all of Monticello; two brothers, Donald (Debbie) Kennedy of Monticello and Bobby (and Elizabeth) Kennedy of Monticello; sister-in-law, Jaci (and Trent) Fiene of Crab Orchard; his parents Ronnie and Margie Kennedy of Monticello; father-in-law, Eddie (and Kim) West of Somerset; mother-in-law, Sharon (and Rocky) Haste of Science Hill; and his aunt, Kathy Easterly of Monticello.


 


Visitation will be on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.


 


His funeral service will follow on Friday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jordan Lockridge officiating.  Burial will be at Dishman Cemetery in Wayne County.


 


In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund or they may be made to the Kennedy family, c/o:  Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1441, Somerset, KY 42502.
