Ed Pratt advised me of Bob's passing. I spoke to Bob for the first time about thirteen years ago when my daughter and I were trying to update the Hall family tree. Bob was very helpful and it was great talking with him. (My mother was Joe Hall's youngest sister.)
May heartfelt thoughts bring you comfort and loving memories bring your family peace.

To Jen, Peter and Matt,
We are just back from being away and see that your dad died. We are so sorry to hear it -- we were so fond of your mom and dad for so many years.
Our most sincere condolences to you and the family,

I have fond memories of Bob, going back to the days when he was a graduate student at Brown (and I was an undergraduate in Psychology) and his days at MIT when I worked there. And then, of course, the Concord Runners, when I was a walker. It was a pleasure to know him in these different walks of his life. I will share the sad news with my friends from undergraduate days.

Bob was my mother, France's cousin. They always stayed in touch with each other. She visited with him before she passed away. She thought so much of him.
I saw Bob when I was visiting my parents around 2004. I also had the opportunity to see him again with Mom when he visited his cousins Howard and Dot. He was such a great guy and so kind. He will be missed.

So sad to hear the news, although I guess not totally unexpected. Visited and had dinner with Bob last Oct. in Sudbury when we came up to Boston for several days, had a great time, and shared fond memories of the Hall family. Please advise us of the date and time of the memorial service in the spring, as we will try to attend.

Bob was my dad's dear cousin, and the last relative to visit my dad in his home before he passed. The Hall's were a big and close family and no matter where they lived they kept in touch of each other. My dad always told me of how he would ride his bike to visit Bob in Philadelphia many years ago. Bob's last visit to see my dad, Joe Hall, was such a treat. I am so happy he came. Bob will live in my heart forever. He was so dear to email with me after the passing of my dad. I will miss him much! May his soul rest in peace. Much sympathy to Bobs family. Susie Hall-Stutz
