“Dee Allison, Lenny Walker...I met Alan in 1978, though we had all come to L,A, from Akron. We were close friends, and I can say that Alan was one of the best men whom I've ever known. When Laena was about to be born, a perfect house, right behind ours became available. He and Andy Vadnay, my then partner, were best friends. The last photo I have of Alan was at Andy's Memorial, 1991. I wish him peace and love, forevermore.
