Not sure what to say?

He Always had a story and a smile! Bless you and his Memory! John Lundin

I ran with Alex in the Navy in Hawaii in 1969-70 and was in touch until today. Alex was a special guy who always enjoyed life. As a native Minnesotan living in California, I will always think of Alex when I come and go through Humphrey terminal next to the National Cemetery. My sincerest condolences to Karen and family.

Karen and family, once again I say how very sorry I was to hear of Alex passing. Even though I knew how sick he was just didn't expect it so soon. I loved him as a kid growing up in my back yard at Grandpa Dehn's house etc. and thru visits with him when he returned to K C KS. I especially remember there was a knock at the door and there stood a good looking Navy Man. It was so sweet of him to take time out to visit his old neighbors. I know you all will miss him, and I certainly will...

I was thrilled when my son Lance went to work for Alex (way back when). Lance's family is in So Calif, Alex put his arm around my son and included him in his family.

Karen, I pray your heart's spirit is lifted by the memories of Alex's love for you and all the happy times. I always looked forward to seeing you both when I visited MN. I will miss his BIG smile! God Bless!

Alex always called us his Texas Cuz. I will miss his astute political views and his wonderful photography. We shared 65 years of family. Angela Worley McCommas

I went to Washington High School with Alex. I have not seen him since graduation but I know Alex was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.

Dear Karen and family, Our sincere sympathy to all of you as you say goodbye to your beloved Alex. We always enjoyed his sense of humor and all the get togethers with your family over the years. May God bless you and comfort you in the coming days and may your loving memories give you peace.
Hugs, Sue and Mike Kellett.

To the Bachnick's, How you will miss him. His sense of fun and joy, his cooking, his caring for those he loved. He loved his ability to make a photo come alive. I remember how much he enjoyed the bathroom photo at Stella's restaurant, It made him smile that mischievous smile. Blessed be his memory.

Dear Karen, Erin and Lauren, I am so sad to hear of Alex's passing. He was a very good man. I have memories of the many times he extended his kindness to my children. He always had something nice to say to them...always made them feel a little better. He was a gentle giant with a kind heart. My prayers are with you.
