Dear Alice,
I miss you so much.
I know you are happy and I'm glad for
that. You certainly earned it.
Tell everyone I said Hi.

Now, I have something personal to ask.
Where are my cardinals.

I will discuss this further when we meet again. And you better have a good reason why I haven't received any.

See you later. I love you.
Frances

I didn't know much of Alice but one specific memory remains. I rememeber her crazy cat. Me and her grand daughter Donna were over one summer a few years ago and painted her front step for her. Everytime she or I (usually me) would get too close to the window where the cat would see us, it would jump, hit the window and hiss at us.
