Our heartfelt sympathy to Al's family. He was such a wonderful guy and fun to be around. I smile every time I think of fishing in Canada.

I met Al at Keystone where my Mother currently lives. I thoroughly enjoyed his personality and would sometimes feed him his ice cream while sitting with my Mom at meals. I am so sorry for your loss, he sounds like he was an amazing man!

All of my heartfelt prayers go to the Sather Family. I did not know Al personally, but heard many stories from his son Rick Sather. He loved hs dad deeply like I'm sure you all did. May you find peace that Al has now joined his beloved wife in heaven. May you all find solace that Al lived a long and great life.

To all of the Sather family and friends-I would like to extend my deepest sympathies during this difficult time in your lives. Although I was only able to meet Al once, I can't help but feel as though I missed out on a very special person. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and as always "SEMPER FI"

I grew up next door to Al and his wonderful family. He was the best neighbor a kid could have. Every winter he would build an ice slide for all the kids in the neighborhood to have fun on. He would always let you ride in the convertible with the top down and his house was your house. He was kind, enthusiastic and supportive. I learned much about how to give of yourself from Al and his wonderful wife Arlene. He will be missed but I know there is a good patio party in heaven right now.. Peace...
