It's been 5 years old pal, and you are still missed! I personally, as well as your family has suffered some great losses since you left...we weather these storms. "Every person has two deaths. The last day they breath and the last day someone says their name." Alton, we're keeping you alive! You'd be pleased to know, I remain in regular contact with your loved ones (G, A & A), they give me strength in your absence...Tampa is less exciting with you gone. Always, Jay Johnson, Tampa

Big Al was one of the coolest cats I've ever known. When I was a kid and he was in the Mayor's office he was cool. When I became a man, he was still cool. Miss you Big Al...

I hope that you find eternal peace, Mr. Alton. Memories of our time together for the Super Bowl down here in NOLA, my cherished jersey, and all of the phone conversations we had throughout my childhood and young adulthood leave me with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. Thank you for gracing us with your big smile and warm heart!
