Not sure what to say?

Arline, Thank you for mentioning Bob in Alvin's obituary. Their friendship meant so much to Bob - everyone should have such a close friend. When they could no longer get together, their daily phone calls were that much more important. I know Alvin missed Bob, after he passed last April, but I am so happy that they are together again, even though it means we are both without them. God Bless and comfort you, as he has me since I lost my Bob.

I offer heartfelt Condolences to all of Alvin's family. He was a fine man.
Lou Nolan (friend of Harry and Alvin)

Arline, so sorry to hear of Alvin's passing. We had many good times together on the rescue squad and going to dinner with both of you. I know that you will continue to find strength in the Lord at this time. I will miss him.

Arline and boys, so sorry to hear of Alvin's passing - but we know he is in a better place. I have fond memories of your family and I am praying for you during this difficult time.

It is with great sadness to hear the loss of a hero. His service to the citizens of Upper Township threw his work with the Upper Townhsip Volunteer Rescue Squad for more than 25 years was an incredible showing of generosity and charing for others. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

Alvin was one of my Brigade leaders when I was young, he was a regular at our gospel music nights and was a great inspiration to me. He will be missed, but I know that I will see him again when we are all reuinted at the feet of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May God bring comfort to his faimly and friends. This is not goodbye, but, until we meet again.
