Annah Lee Crawford

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to you at the loss of Annah Lee. Over the years, my parents spent many hours sitting in the lobby of Friendship Manor with our sister, Katie, listening to Annah Lee play the piano. It made their days there much brighter. Thank you for sharing her with them.

My fondest memories are of Garden City Baptist Church. I remember so well Mrs.Clingenpeel Crawford and her love for the Lord Jesus Christ in music, teaching and the way she lived. I remember many years back she and Mr. Clingenpeel were guests at my parents home on Christmas Eve. She enjoyed so much sampling the different cakes, her coffee and fellowship with my beloved mother Lena S. Proctor and dad. She was a wonderful person and I feel that she is at peace now in the arms of Jesus.

Growing up in Garden City Baptist Church brings one vivid memory, Mrs. Clingenpeel/Crawford playing the old hymns on the piano. She showed her love of the Lord through her piano playing. Her smile was infectious as was her service to others. I know she is in Heaven playing music and laughing. God Bless her sweet family.

Word cannot express what Ms. Clingenpeel/Crawford meant to me. She was a very special lady. Many of the memory verses and hymns that I know today was the result of her challenge. When I was child in the junior department of Sunday School we would earn a sticker for our Bibles if we learn the passage of scripture or the words of all verses of the selected hymn. As, I became an adult then I had the privilege of working by her side in WMU. I always enjoyed being in the room when she played...

My husband and I worked at Fallon Park Elementary School when Mrs. Annah (Clingenpeel) Crawford was a library clerk there. She had an affectionate smile and treated everyone fairly. We know she will be missed by her family but know that Heaven is now greater because she is there.

Sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Crawford. She must have been a joy to all who knew her. I was fortunate to know Mr. Crawford in Christiansburg, Va. My sympathy to all.
