In the lineage of the Speairs name, he comes from a long line of military heros. He is a testament to the Spirit of the American Patriot, then and now. What I will remember most is how good he was to my dear mother, Catherine Speairs. We thank God for such men.

We are so sad to hear of Ed's passing. He was a great friend to my mother, Audrey Snow, and a good friend to us during our Florida visits as well. What a wonderful person. Our hearts go out to you.
