Not sure what to say?

Sorry for your lose!

I did not know Corky before he joined the Knights of Columbus. I saw him through his journey to Knighthood. I know Corky would have been more active in the Knights if his health had allowed as he cared about people. Wish life was slower today so all could spend more time with those who need a visit and time with friends.
Nelson Carey of the Knights of Columbus

He was such a wonderful teacher and person. We have lots of great memories of the times my children were in his dance classes. Sandra Lawson Stanwitz

I am heartbroken to learn of Corky's passing. I worked with him at Wades for years, and he became one of my dearest friends. He showed me kindness and loyalty when others had turned their backs on me. Although I hadn't seen him in many years, he has always had a special place in my heart, and he always will. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. Rest easy, sweet friend. I will never forget you.

Dena and family. I wish I had known Corky back before Radford Re-Hab. I met him when my mom was there 3 years ago. His smile would light up the room, especially when I talked about you and Lexi. He was such a joy for all of the residents in re-hab. He had a special "seat", when it came to bingo time. He made the best of a bad situation. He will forever hold a special place in my heart. Now he is in heaven with Miss Jean and others, dancing away and yelling BINGO !!

So sorry to hear of his passing. He was an inspiration to my two children. May he rest in peace.

Corky taught my two daughters dance in Christiansburg. Because of his prodding, I became an active father. Corky had a love of dance and the kids be taught. He could be a hard task master, but in the end, everyone adored him. My biggest memory of Corky would be at dance competitions when he would turn around and ask me where the kids would finish. Corky is not gone. He has opened his new studio in the sky, is happily dancing and is waiting for us.
To the family, he was a great man and...

I enjoyed working with Corky at Wade's. He had a great personality and his sense of humor kept us laughing all the time, even during the crazy holiday seasons. Corky will be missed by many, many people. He left a lasting impression on all who met him. I'm so sorry Dena.

I have so many good memories of Corky living across the street from me - especially relative to band. I was a majorette and he was our baton twirler, which he did better than anyone I had ever known. We spent a lot of time together in the summer playing the piano together, and at band functions and other school events in high school. He later taught my youngest daughter in dance, which he was very good at. I shall miss Corky and treasure my memories of good times with him.
