Dear Anna and Family,
I taught Arthur in the 7th grade and he was one of my favorite students. He worked hard and all ways did what was asked of him . He wrote me post cards when he was in the Marines Corps.
After I became Principal of West Lenoir, I asked him to become our custodian and bus driver. Again he was a very hard worker and very loyal. We became great friends.
I am so sorry to hear of his death. Had I known I would certainly have been there to be with you. May...
