It was my great honor to know Art. I met him through the Head Start when I was working there and when two of his kids were enrolled.

There are no words sufficient to express the loss we feel, my son and I. Art helped us in many ways, but the most important one was the gift of his friendship.

You will be missed greatly, my friend.

Love and loss go hand in hand, but it's never easy to lose a loved one, especially one of such great stature, but when we put this aside we learn that in their absence, we must pull together. Family, and friends. And succeed and surpass all of the expectations he would have wanted us to overcome, I'm here for you guys if you need anything, I'm praying for you and wish the best as you learn to deal and grow with the grief of losing your loved one. Thank you for all the memories that remain...
