And no resident will say: “I am sick…”Isa 33:24. We can be sure of this reality because God has promised as seen from his divine words about the near future; perhaps you or I may see those missing from our lives due to sickness or tragic injury that lead to death. Prayers go out to the surviving family and friends.

It is never easy losing a loved one especially as to how young Ms. Everett was. May the God of comfort bring you peace during this time of sorrow. Psalms 46:1

I wasn't fortunate enough to know Austen, only her dad, bill, has been my lifelong friend , as kids and highschool chums ... i am so moved to read all the wonderful things about Austen and i am saddened for her family , to know they have lost their darling daughter and sister.... blessings and peace BIll, Karen and Ryan. I am devastated to learn of Austen's death. She was such a fun kid to hang with when I was lucky enough to "babysit" her as a young teen. She enriched my life, and that of so many others. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

With sincere sympathy to the family. May God bless you at this dificult time. "He heals the brokenhearted" Psalm 147:3,John 17:3

Austen, Your magical spirit in our world, in Seattle and here on Guemes Island. We will treasure our times with you forever. Thanks to the countless people who have sent countless condolence cards, emails and sent love to us here on every social media. Here's a photo of you with me in one of many happy times when you were my little assistant director. Love you Skooter. Thunderfoot!

Austen, you lived, you laughed, and you inspired. Thank you for lighting up our world. We'll miss you and remember you always.
