She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers.

Also, left to cherish her memory is the staff and patients at Friendship Manor. Each of them had become a part of Barbara’s family.

Those who spent any time with her knew of her strong work ethic and love for her family.  She wasn’t the mushy and sappy type however, she showed love through food; whether it was in the school cafeteria or her very own kitchen. The fresh smell of pound cake, fresh apple cake, applesauce cake, peach cobbler, biscuits, pancakes, etc. will long fill our memories. We all love her deeply and she will forever live within our hearts.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Service
