Not sure what to say?

Left DCC's many years ago when worked as a nurse there. Met alot of great Correction Officers....including Barb. Now many years later, much to my great surprise several are getting together again....Barb being one of them, and such fun to have been included with former officers and find out about their lives since I left in the early 90's. Luncheon get togethers, a great dinner with a big group at the Olive Garden.....FUN! Barb came to my chorus style shows and was so happy to be...

Barb was such a joy to work with & be around. It has been a long time since I worked with her but I still have fond memories. She will be missed !

Barb was a friend for 37 years with a core group of gals who started working in Corrections when the 17th & Leavenworth jail was built. We have been together trough the years of weddings, child births, children's graduations, divorces, all life's ups and downs. Barb and I did Spiritual events together, lunches, hot tub talking, and simple visits about daily life. Knowing a great friend for a lifetime of smiles, tears, laughter and joy. I miss you already Barb. And the last time we spent...

I am deeply feeling the loss of a true warrior today. Barb Glaser was the kind of woman that never judged and worked tirelessly for those of us that had hit our lowest of lows. She had faith in me when I had none and she saw value in the life of every single person she worked with. She never, not once, gave up on a single person because they had yet another failed attempt at living right. She taught me grace. She taught me humility. She taught me to see the good in myself and to never, ever...

Barb was such a classy person and made it delightful for all to be in her presence. She will sorely be missed by all who knew her and by those whose lives she touched.

You inspired me so much to find what was right for myself, just by being you. You were a wonderful role model. And now you are a wonderful angel. God bless.

Barbara was the "Font of Knowledge" for everyone. Positive, enthusiastic and beyond helpful everywhere she worked. She devoted her life and skills to the Programs/library for the betterment of the Clients of the jail.
Besides achieving success, she lived well, laughed often, and loved much. I was blessed to have her as my truest friend for over thirty-five years, and will miss her until my end.

Barb was truly one of the unsung heroes in the lives of many who never knew her name. The lives she impacted and will continue to impact because of the programs she created and high standards she instilled will continue to change lives in years to come.

It's still hard for me to believe that she is gone. Today I walked passed her office thinking once I looked to my right,I would see her sitting at her desk or on the phone or even to think of her coming out of her office, to come around the corner to see what the good laughter would be about. Barb had a heart for the Whole Wide World and that was her. Barb you will be so greatly missed at DCC. May peace be with her family during this time in need.
