Not sure what to say?

I was a chief babysitter for the Overton's in the 60's and loved them dearly. He will be missed. The Lord bless and keep you.

I had the honor of working at the Supreme Court from 1986 until 1996 in the Technology division. Justice Overton was a very sweet and funny man. He help champion the introduction of computers to the Supreme Court which was not an easy task. But once the other justices saw how he embraced the technology they felt more comfortable. He will be missed and I will have fond memories of a wonderful man.

"Cast your burden on God and he himself will sustain you."

Please accept our sincere condolences.

Robert, I am so sorry to hear your father's passing. May God bless you and your entire family.Peace be with you all.

I had the honor of being taught by the Judge in 1997 as one of 25 teachers in Florida to be invited to the sesquicentennial aniversary of the Court in Tallahassee. He was a brilliant lecturer and his efforts to educate others about the Supreme Court are commendable. Years later when he moved to Oak Hammock, we crossed paths through a mutuaL friend. He was indeed an accomplished and humble man who lived with panache. Dignified, friendly, and wise, he was a pleasure to be around.

My sincerest condolences to your family. It was indeed an honor to know such a great spirit. I had no idea he had accomplished so much, because he was so humble. May you be comforted in knowing that he made a difference and lived his dash in a positive way. Be blessed now and always.

In sympathy to the family of Ben Overton, especially in honor of my friend and Ben's daughter, Cathi.
