“We were sad to learn of Betty's passing. In this world there are givers or takers and Betty was a giver. She gave so much to her students. Our son, Jody, enjoyed her classes and FBLA activities. He said the trips were always so much fun because she had a great sense of humor. We would like to express our appreciation to Wayne and Cynthia for choosing Jody's memorial scholarship for donations in lieu of flowers.
“Wayne and family,
I'm sorry for your loss Betty was a great lady and will never be forgotten. I'm sure it you all will miss her greatly. God Bless!
“I am so sorry to hear such sad news. Mrs. Combs was such an inspirational teacher. I am a business teacher today because of the impact she made during my senior year. Observing her passion for teaching and professionalism provided me with a model for the kind of teacher I wanted to be and hope that I am to this day.
