“I knew Rev Betty when she was the pastor at the North Searsport United Methodist Church, a very nice lady.n Edna Vaughan
“I never knew Rev. Betty, as I called her, when she was this healthy. I was blessed to meet her after she moved to Elkhart. She talked about you kids and some of her history. She and I sang and played piano at Golden Living Center. When we finished, three people applauded us and asked us to play some more:) She had such a big heart. I will miss her in my life.
“I enjoyed renewing my friendship with Betty. She was a remarkable woman. She made a difference in many lives, mine especially. Not only was she a cousin, but I considered her a friend.
