So sorry about your loss. I lost my husband 6/29/12. It is truly a life changing experience.
Class of 1958 Campbellsville High School.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Smithson family. Mrs. Smithson was a wonderful mom to all of us who spent many days and nights at their Roanoke home. Love and hugs to all of you.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Bev taught in Roanoke, VA City Schools. She is remembered with fondness by the Roanoke City Retired Teachers Association.

I so enjoyed being in a Bible study class with Bev. Such a delightful & lovely person. My deepest condolences to Bob & the family, during this very difficult time. Grace & Peace. Virginia Tedder Greensboro CUMC

Bev was a Sorority sister at Illinois that I remember with love. She has comforted me as I am a Caregiver for my husband Jack, an Alzheimers victim. Even as she continued her own battle with her beautiful style and Grace, she found words of comfort for me. That was the Bev I knew and will remember. Love & Prayers to you Bob and to all your wonderful family. May The Lord give you Peace. Karen CRANE Goggin

My condolences to Mr.Smithson, Tracy, Karen, and their families. Although it has been years since I have seen her, I knew Mrs. Smithson to be a wonderful, caring, and beautiful lady. She was a cherished part of our experiences and lives while at JMU, as well as the many years since. My prayers are with you.
Chris Brock (Fort Mill, SC)

Love and prayers to Bob and the girls.
sincerely, Barbara Rogers Dickinson (a friend from Roanoke days.)

Thoughts and prayers to the family! Especially to Tracy , Rich and Lucas and Alex ! You are loved.
