Brandi Brooks Obituary
Mrs. Brandi Michelle Jernigan Brooks, age 37, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at her residence in Henderson, TN.
Funeral services for Brandi will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 3 p.m., in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, with Bro. John Norvell officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers to serve will be Shawn Davis, Jimmy Cooper, David Broadwater, Bob Jernigan, Lamar Smith, and Jim Webb. Honorary Pallbearers to serve will be Macy Smith and Barry Johnson.
Brandi was born on September 8, 1976 to James E. "Jimmy" Jernigan and Peggy Buckingham. She was graduate of Southside High School and held a Masters Degree in Education and Minor in Psychology.
She is survived by her husband, Shea Brooks; two children, Chesney and Lane Scarbrough; step daughters, Hanna and Hayley Brooks; her mother, Peggy Buckingham; father, Jimmy Jernigan (Diana); brother, Chip Jernigan; step sisters, Joey and Kayla Rogers; grandmothers, Polly Buckingham and Barbara Finley.
She is preceded in death by grandfathers, Charles Buckingham and James Jernigan.
She will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 12 Noon until the time of the service at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, (731) 427-5555.
