To the Erkfitz family,
I have no words to express for the loss of Brian. I am shocked and sad at the same time. He was so sweet, friendly and wonderful to all the kids he came in contact with. I and my girls loved him and his personality. He would do anything for anybody. He has an awesome family that I know will miss him deerly. Just one of our "Masterpieces"

Brian will certainly be missed by all of us members of "The Field Crew" at Reicher Catholic High School. Brian always brought a "bright light" with him when he came to help us paint the field. His attitude and humor were just what we needed as we performed our magic on the field (some nights were rather cold- and Brian's wit always lifted our spirits). I'm sure I speak for all of the Cougar Nation when I say that Brian's presents among us was a blessing to us all.

Brian M. Erkfitz, of Waco, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the age of 47. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at Western Heights Baptist Church, 6301 Bosque Boulevard, with Kip Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
