You were truly an amazing man to grow up with. The booming laugh that so many have mentioned will forever be with me and your dedication to the police work you did inspired my career path. To all those family and friends out there we thank you for your support during this trying time. Keep everyone laughing up there in heaven!

Such sadness to hear of Brian's passing. Working with Brian was always full of great stories and a hearty laugh. Very glad to call him friend.

As the significant other and eventual caretaker for 22-plus years of Brian's Uncle Dave, Brian kindly was one of the first persons to arrive at the house upon the death of Dave in 2010 and for that I will forever be grateful. There are not any rules as to when we get to leave; what we do while we are here is what matters and Brian always was gracious to me. My sincere sympathy is extended to all of his family.

Lauria, although I never met you I worked under Sgt Reed as a midnight officer on the East Side not long ago. Please have no doubts if you have any how much he loved you. I was one who had to "learn" who Brian was and quickly discovered he was a man with a huge huge heart and I believe he was doing God's work with real humility. He kept it no secrete you were his soul mate and his face completely changed into innocence when he spoke about you and the peace you gave his heart. Lauria...
Just a ground pounder officer
