The Love Birds, April 2011

Bruce was my best friend's, best friend and love of Pat's life. Bruce was our best man, and everyone's best man. How he will be missed! and by so many. May we all have his lust for life!

I loved Bruce before I ever met him, beginning when I first laid eyes upon him: through binoculars, looking across the Atascadero hills, as we spotted him standing on his roof holding a sign declaring his love for Pat. It only got better from there. You know how it is with girlfriends; you want the best for them and never feel like any man is quite worthy of your friend? Well, for Pat's friends, Bruce was a dream come true. What a wonderful, amazing man, so funny, kind, smart, generous, fun...

From the minute we met Bruce we loved him. What a guy!! Never a time that he didn't make us laugh. A super person anyway you look at it. Pat we love you and think about you all the time, our hearts are sad.

Rest in peace.

My heart goes out to Pat. I am so sorry for your loss. You and Bruce were such a fun and youthful couple. Many only dream of what you two had together.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family I know he will be dearly missed.

I appreciate the sentiments expressed by all of my friends and relatives. I look forward to being able to see him once again. Dad...I love and miss you.

My heart goes out to Pat and the rest of the family. I met Bruce once, and he made a lasting impression. May he rest in peace

We are so heartbroken. This world has lost a great man. So kind and gentle and always ready to laugh and make the world a better place. Our love goes out to Pat and family. The love story shared between them has been an inspiration to all who know them. Bruce was a remarkable man and will live forever in our hearts!!
