Buddy R. Whitten

Tuscumbia, Alabama

Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

It is a sad day having just gotten the news of Mr. Whitten's passing. I have such fond memories. I can't think of my childhood without thinking of the entire Whitten family. All the great times in Rivermont and wonderful vacations in Panama City I will never forget. Mr. Whitten always treated me like his own daughter and I have always been grateful for that. To know Mr. Whitten was to know a man of great faith and family.
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am sorry for your loss.

My families sympathy for you in this time of sorrow.

How you must miss Buddy! Please accept our love and sincerest condolences and know that we are close in thought and in prayer. May God continue to bless you all. Gloria and Gary Barton

Betty, Peggy, and Russell.
Right now you are at the Lynn cemetery, where I want to be. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Buddy was almost always in Lynn when we visited. As one of my older cousins, I looked up to him; he probably saw me as a little tag-along. As i grew up, I was around some to watch Buddy with you, Peggy and Russell. He loved you so.

Wishing I was with you,
Kathy Barton Long

Peggy, I'm so sorry for your loss. Praying for your family.

Offering our deepest sympathies at this time.
