We have lost such a great woman. Carmen was an extraordinary inspiration to all. My mother Annetta dearly enjoyed her visits with Carmen. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with each of you. GOD be with you.

So very saddened to hear of Carmen's passing.
Please know that she helped mold the lives of many folks - not just her kids, grandkids and great grandkids -but many boys and girls in the community with her sweet personality, geniune care & concern for others and by the way she lived her Christian life. One of my favorite childhood memories was riding my bike to "Carmen's Store" and picking up some items for my mom & hanging out there & watching her interact with...
