“Carmen was a lovely person. It was an honor to fly the airplanes she built. As one of Sam's brothers, I knew her from the beginning when they first met. She was a pretty woman, smart and very talented. Sam's brothers & sisters thought well of Carm. She will be missed. Sincerely Jim & Marlene Grasso & family.
“I just learned that Carmen had passed away. I am so sorry. Sam was my mother's cousin and he and Carmen held a special place in our hearts.
“Dear Grasso Family: We are so very saddened about the earthly passing of this special person in our lives. We just read the obit at 8:26 p.m. Fri, so we missed the wake and will be out of town on Saturday. May you be assured of our prayers and condolences as we will miss her and offer Mass intentions for her soul.
“I am so sorry to hear this news! I loved your mother, she had a big heart and great attitude towards life!! She was also a fabulous artist and I always admired her art!
“Thanks for your work at Martin Bomber Plant for the War Effort.
Past Commander V.F.W.
“To Bev, Sam, Mike and grandchildren,
There will be an emply chair at the holiday table this year, but you know Aunt Carm will be watching over you. We will miss you, Aunt Carm and my dear godmother. Will always remember your good advice and willingness to listen. We love you and miss you always.
“I am saddened to know of the passing of my very special Aunt Carm, she was an awesome lady. I know she is at peace and happy to be reunited with her parents, wonderful husband and many other loving relatives and friends. Aunt Carm, give my Mom and Dad a hug for me. Thoughts and prayers to all of your family.
“Bev and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss! May your sadness be lessened knowing that she is at peace! My prayers and thoughts are with you!
