Not sure what to say?

Kate, Eric and Kristin, find consolation in his life of service to the Church, seminary and Augsburg. He was a good man and friend to so many. Requiescat in pace.

"President" Anderson; very bright, spiritual, caring and tough. A natural leader and teacher. Bless his soul and his family's memories.

As personable a College President as there could ever be!

Kate, Kristin, Eric, and family, We send our deep sympathy on the occasion of Chuck's death. He left a powerful legacy in the shape and spirit of Augsburg College and its commitments to the city and to opportunities for diverse communities. We have many fond memories of our time at Augsburg and Chuck's role as a mentor and leader. May you find peace in knowing that he changed the world for the better. Love, Ryan and Carol

Safe in God's arms.

Chuck was a great individual who gave and commanded respect from those around him. Back in my student days at Augsburg, I remember his involvement with the College and it's daily life as he made sure that everyone was accountable from top on down. You were an inspirational leader as you transformed everyone that was part of the College. You will be truly missed.

A talented and energetic leader who was valued during his time at Augsburg. A good friend whom we shall all miss. My best wishes to Kate and to Kristin in their time of sorrow. Chuck suffered a long illness, and in our prayers we hope he is in peace.

While saddened to learn of his passing he is at peace now after such a lengthy struggle. I will always be grateful for his commitment to the American Indian community and the creation of a strong support program at Augsburg which resulted in the graduation of over 100 native students within a 20 year time frame. During this time, technically, he was my "Boss" but over these years we developed a deep friendship and I shall cherish all the memories we created together. Blessings...

I know Chuck loved all of you and was so proud. His legacy will live through all of you. Your family has...
