Not sure what to say?

Having moved North, I just learned of the death of one of my mentors, Dr. Charles Howard. Our first encounter was when I was a medical student and he pulled strings to let me scrub in to cut sutures, my first exposure to private medicine. From that day forward he remained my favorite physician. He inspired me. I still use wisdom he imparted to me after 23 years of my private Ob/Gyn practice. He had tremendous patience, skill and judgment. He cared about the medical profession remaining...

Working with Charles in the OR, I knew him to be an extremely gifted surgeon with impeccable judgement and a great love for his patients. More importantly, being a man of God, he could provide his patients with such compassion. I will always strive to treat my patients as he showed me through his example.

Keith, Dana , Charles and Carrie - Bill and I are praying for you during this difficult time. We know all too well the sadness and need for comfort as we say goodbye to one we love. Yet at the same time the hope in Christ fills us abundantly.

To Family and Friends:

Dr. Howard was an excellent doctor and well respected from the many nurses who were fortunate enough to know and work with him. He was a doctor who "Got the patient in; Got them well; and Got them home " in a reasonable length of time of care. I am so proud that I was one of those patients and nurses. God bless Dr. Howard and thank you for your service to your patients!

I am glad we got to see both of you again in June allways liked Charles thought he was a wonderful man and a good grandfather to our mutual grand children, I know they thought a lot of him.He is with God now and in good hands.

Our prayers go out to a wonderful man. I feel it a pleasure to have been able to be able to see Dr Howard through the eyes of a child, to grow to see him as the respected man he was. May God welcome him with open arms.

Our prayers will be for God's very sufficient comfort for the family; we rejoice in his presence with God and look forward to the same ourselves.

Dr. Howard will always be remembered for his intentional dedication to his Lord, his wife, his family and his patients. He was always encouraging and positive to us as we went through Dean's medical training, so much so that Dean went to work with him. He will be missed. Much love Mrs. Howard.

Prayers to the Howard family as they deal with the loss of this wonderful man. May your cherished memories help guide you through this difficult time.
