“My deepest condolence on the passing of Chris Hicks. Chris was such a wonderful man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
“Chris was a wonderful person and loyal member of the Table Rock VFW Post 5362. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
“I was a teacher at Salem High from 1062-67 when I returned to the Marine Corps. He was a fun loving student of mine. The last time I saw Chris was in Vietnam as we met by chance. I am proud that he served his country and our Corps! Semper Fi to Chris.
