Not sure what to say?

Mr. Spence was my choir director for the a cappella choir when I was at East Aurora High, a pleasure to be taught by such a great man.

He was a wonderful teacher/choir director/person! He inspired so many students. EAHS 1970

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Spence's passing. I was in his choir at East High from 1969 to 1972. I was also involved in Summer Stage. He was the reason I stayed involved with both and always liked seeing his smiling face in the morning. He will surely be missed.

I absolutely loved that man...I am now 67 and he taught me at East High...we loved to sing, my twin sister and I...I will always remember him as a funny, wonderful teacher, who really cared about his students learning the art of their voices...I am so sorry for your loss...Karen Beilman Truemper

I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Spence's passing. He was my music teacher in high school and we all loved him. I ran into him years later and he still remembered me. Sorry for your loss.

I have always counted Mr. Spence among my favorite teachers. I had the honor of taking classes with him at East Aurora HS in the mid-eighties. What a wonderful person he was! I will forever think fondly of him.

Tears came to my eyes hearing of Mr. Spense's passing. What a great man....a great teacher. I was privileged to be taught by Mr. Sprence in the 70's. He was always upbeat, fun. Everyone looked forward to his class. What a great choir he must be directing now!

A true renaissance man

Thank you to everyone who has left a message on here. I Bill's grandaughter and I am so glad to see that he was loved by so many people. He was a great man and will always be with all of us. Again thank you all so very much for your lovely comments and also thank you to everyone who attended the funeral.
