2013 Hard Hats of Niagara Reunion

During construction of the great Niagara Power Project, Clayton was among the elite few who held the prestigious title of Whirly Operator.
These were the 100 ton cranes that placed the concrete on the Moses Power Dam. The completed project has benefited millions for over a half century. The great concrete structure is his living legacy for us all to marvel at. He was a matter-of-fact man who pursued and attained the American Dream for himself and his beloved family.
