Not sure what to say?

ELAINE AND FAMILY, I JUST HEARD OF CONNIE'S PASSING. MY HEART IS VERY HEAVY WITH GRIEF, AS I REMEMBER ALL OUR FUN TIMES TOGETHER DOING THEATRE AT PRAIRIE STATE COLLEGE, THE DRAMA GROUP, AND IN MY OWN SHOWS. I DIRECTED CONNIE IN ANYTHING GOES, AND SHE WAS A REAL TROUPER, ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP WITH WHATEVER NEEDED IT, AND ALWAYS TRYING TO FIND A SOLUTION FOR ANY PROBLEM. SHE HELPED ME ALWAYS AND COULD SEE A RAINBOW WHERE THERE WAS A RAIN CLOUD. WHENEVER I NEEDED SUPPORT, SHE WAS THERE, A...

I was privileged to work with Connie for several years. She was always energized and ready to help with anything. I remember how much she loved music and performing and I think "Cinderella" was a "high point" for her. It was just so clear that she enjoyed that role so much!

I was extremely sorry to learn of Connie's passing. I wish I had been able to attend the services, but learned of them too late. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Elaine, Jeri and Brett:

My Mom just got a call from an old neighbor in Homewood to let us know Connie passed away. I am so sorry for your loss - it is a loss for me as well.

As you know, Connie and I were best friends all through James Hart, H-F, college and as young adults. I still have my cherished photo of "the group" from one of our school dances when Connie was my date. I was very much hoping to see her at the H-F 25th reunion in a few months.

Elaine and Family, I was very sorry to read of your daughter's (sister's) death. The picture caught my eye and then I noticed the name. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Sincerely, Helen Rachford

Dear Elaine,
I could not believe it when I saw your beautiful daughter's photo on
Sunday. I knew who she was immediately because she looks just like you. My husband and I have attended many meetings, and I had the pleasure of meeting Connie and
speaking with her about New York City. At the time, I commented to my husband how much she resembles you, and how wonderful it is that the two of you share a love of history and take such an active interest in it. I lost my l2 year...

Elaine,
I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Elaine and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies. I will be back in town tomorrow and will try to reach you this week. I am so sorry for your loss, and you are in my constant thoughts.

Please accept my deepest condolances to the family of Connie Egdorf. Connie and I were childhood & grade school friends (at Churchill school in Homewood), and I have many sweet memories of her that I remember fondly to this day and will always cherish. It is not my habit to review notices in the newspaper, but her photograph was like seeing Connie all over again - I recognized her in an instant. Please know that I've thought of Connie off and on through the years and will always keep our...

My deepest sympathy and thoughts are with your entire family. I remember my days at HF with Connie in Viking Choir, our trip to Austria, and theater productions.... Up The Down Staircase, Fiddler On The Roof, Gypsy, and Kismet, where we shared a "minaret" in our harem costumes and sang...we had a lot of fun. She always had a smile.
