Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Beenken family. Darrel was always willing to help with the smallest of pet troubles and was so good at explaining to young ears what needed to be done and why. He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts are with the family of Doc Beenken he was one of a kind and will be missed by all. There is room in Heaven for a good vet to care for all the pets that have past... Carry on Doc !!!!!

Our hearts go out to the Beenken Family. We are so sorry for your loss. Dr Beenken was great with my pets Reagan and Max. He will be truely missed by all!

He will be missed very much by our family. He was the best vet ever, always had a smile on his face and time to answer any questions I may have had. If it was'nt for Darrel's wonderful care our dog would'nt be here today. Gene,Julie,Josh,Turbo

Darrel was a 'very' compassionate vet. I called him once on Thanksgiving Day no less because of my sick hamster! My dog Charlie really liked him, and that says a lot because he doesn't like any men. He is already grately missed. I so appreciated him caring for my dog. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We are so sorry for your lost of a loved one and our lost of a great vet. That took Pride in his work with animals. He was a wonderful person and a great vet. We don't know what we would have done without him in Lake Mills. Our dogs and cats just loved him. We will keep you in our thought and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Darrell was a wonderful man, a good vet, and friend to many. I will always remember his wonderful smile, since of humor and his kindness and compassion not only to his furry friends but also to their owners. He will be greatly missed by all whose life he touched.

Our deepest sympathy to the Beenken family. Doc was the best at a hard profession, with the knowledge and strength equal to any task, always willing and cheerful under the worst of conditions. He will be greatly missed our family. One of my Dad's favorite memories, which he kept to the very end of his life was of Doc cleaning his boots then handing the hose to a very young Daniel to "hose off" his pants legs and tennis shoes, thoroughly soaking himself.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
