Not sure what to say?

I don't know how he died.

I'm so sad to hear about David's death. He was a friend many years ago and the last time we saw each other was at a funeral of another of our friends. My heart goes out to David's surviving family. He was a sweet man who touched many people's lives.

David, I have fond memories of you in high school, you always had a smile on your face and a kind work for everyone. My sincere condolences to the Carmichael family.

I just met you, and now your are gone, your life taken away too soon. Would have enjoyed more art hops, fun and political discussions with you in Winston Salem.
My deep sympathies to your family and friends... keep smiling up there buddy!

Dearest Hoagy, I am not sure that you remember me, I used to work at Piedmont Hematology Oncology and was very close to both Becky and yourself. I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as well as the entire Carmichael family.

I was Stolis' original mom and David semi adopted her. I knew David for 30 years and he will be missed! Love to the family! Carrie Dollar

I had the pleasure of working with David at Bennigan's in the early 80s. He was a kind, humorous soul who genuinely liked people. I feel honored to have spent time with him in the years I was in Winston. Many memories.

My prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time. David was loved so much. He will always be with us in the wind blowing, the sun shining and stars twinkling at night. We love you David!
