Not sure what to say?

I am holding a memory jar. A stone represents a memory.

David, I will never forget the times we spent together some years back. It was great meeting your family at the lake. All these years later, to see the accomplishments that you only talked about back then that have come to fruition. I am thrilled to see all the goals you accomplished but really sad to see you were not finished. You so loved the fire fighting industry and my prayers are with your family now that God will give them peace in knowing that you have become one of his fire fighting...

Captain Heath,
Thanks for your service and leaving New Hanover a better place. You are missed!

I'm so sorry. I will miss you so much.

David, I will always remember the things you taught me when I came into the fire service. I carry them with me to this day. I miss you brother

David, I will miss your energy and how i admired you when i would see you bow your head over your food and silently pray. i know you are with our lord. we will see you again one day.
