“I was saddened to just hear the news of Dave's passing. He was one of the most gentle and friendly people I had the pleasure of working with at Valley View. My thoughts and prayers go out to Betty and the rest of the family.
“Dave was truly an outstanding teacher and a great friend! It was a privilege and an honor to have worked with Dave. I will forever be indebted to him for his help with my dissertation research. My respect and love goes to Betty and their children during this most difficult time. Respectfully, John Crook
“I had the pleasure of teaching with Dave at the Boston College Discrete Math Institute. He was a wonderful teacher and an inspiration. He loved having a new puzzle to solve and enjoyed sharing them with others. I always looked forward to his mathematical holiday cards! Much love to Betty and all of his loved ones.
“Dear Betty, Family & Friends,
Our sincere thoughts to all of you at this difficult time. Dave was indeed a great person & teacher. I was lucky to know him & his wonderful wife Betty. Due to health issues, I will miss the services for Dave but please know our thoughts are with each of you....... Fran & Rebecca Carr
